Montini Catholic High School Grant
The mission and passion of our founder St. John Baptist De La Salle in France during the 17th century was to provide education to the children of the poor. Today one of the criteria of a Lasallian School is to provide education to all children especially children of families who want a Catholic education but cannot afford today’s tuition rates. Montini Catholic High School offers need based grants.

Diocese of Joliet Space Grant
Parents of students who attend Montini Catholic and work at a Diocesan Grade School are eligible to receive a $1000 tuition grant. Please contact Sara McGady at smcgady@universalmedya.com for information on employment verification.
Montini Catholic Sibling Discount
Tuition discounts are provided for siblings:
- One sibling in attendanace - $600 discount
- Two siblings in attendance - $1200 discount
- Three siblings in attendance - One full tuition total tuition discount
- Four siblings in attendance - One and one half tuition total tuition discount
Montini Catholic Work Study Program
This program has a limited number of opportunities for student employment duringthe summer and the school year. Credits earned from participating in the Work Study Program are applied directly to the student's tuition account. The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF)
The Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) distributes hundreds of need-based scholarships and education program grants each year. The CEF generates its funding through an annual fall scholarship campaign, parish assessments, and donor directed planned gifts. This grant is applicable only to those families who are registered parishioners of a Joliet Diocese Parish. Please visit the CEF Tuition Assistance web page for additional information.

Kazma Family Foundation Scholarship
This four year scholarship is available for students in the Class of 2026. Students must have financial need, attend a Catholic parish and have average to above average grades. To apply families must complete the FACTS application as well as the Kazma Family Foundation application. Please follow the links below for instructions and the application.

Bishop Blanchette Scholarship
The Council of Catholic Women of the Diocese of Joliet annually offers a number of scholarships to students planning to or already enrolled in a Catholic high school in the diocese. Students in grades
8 - 11 that will be or are attending Montini Catholic High School are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Students must be registered in a parish with a local Council of Catholic Women, since it is these local councils which do the fund-raising. Students must also show significant financial need, and actively attend their parish. These scholarships are awarded on a year to year basis and grants are paid directly to Montini Catholic High School. To apply for one of these scholarships, students and their families must request the necessary forms from the President of their parishes CCW. (If difficulty is encountered in contacting the President of the local CCW, please call (815) 221.6249 or email jdccwpresident@dioceseofjoliet.org for the Office of the JDCCW.)
- The FACTS Aid & Grant Form is required.
- Deadline for application March 1, 2022.
Note: Only one application and fee is required with FACTS to be considered for a Montini Catholic Grant, Catholic Education Foundation Grant, and Bishop Blanchette Scholarship. In order to complete a FACTS Application, you will need your 2020 Tax Return and 2020 W-2 form. The application fee is $35 for a FACTS Application.
Illinois Tax Credit Scholarship Program
The Illinois House and Senate passed a comprehensive education funding bill that includes a provision for tax credit scholarships, which provide strong incentives for donors to support non-public school scholarships for low-income students in the state. Illinois students from low-income families may use these scholarships to attend a non-public school of their choice.
Current Montini Catholic and incoming students from families with limited financial resources are eligible to receive a tax credit scholarship. Please visit the Illinois Tax Credit Applicant page for more specific information on eligibility.
Families can make a reservation for a 2022-2023 Empower Illinois tax credit scholarship on January 12, 2022.
LINK Unlimited Scholarship - deadline passed
LINK Unlimited is a not-for-profit organization that provides educational services and mentoring to economically disadvantaged African American youth from the Chicago area. For more information go to www.linkunlimited.org. LINK is available to current 8th graders. The application deadline for the 2022-23 school year begins in October of 2021.
Holy Family Scholarship Chicago Scholars - deadline passed
HFS Chicago Scholars provides partial high school scholarships for academically motivated yet economically disadvantaged young men and women in Chicago. Criteria are based on conduct, GPA and rank on standardized tests.
