The aim of the Technology Education Department is two-fold.  In our Digital Literacy course, the only required course in our department, the focus is on providing all of our freshmen with the technology skills and practices that will help them succeed in all of their classes at Montini Catholic.  The rest of our courses are designed to teach fundamental STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills in a variety of leading technology fields.  The Technology Education Department also attempts to instill students with a sense of the ethical, moral, legal, and Christian implications of the technology that they use and the ways they use technology to create, communicate, and work. The following courses are offered in the Technology Department:

  • Introduction to Technology
  • CAD I & II
  • Robotics I & II
  • Programming in Java
  • Advanced Placement Computer Science
